ServiceMaster We Serve Day 2017

Hope House was honored this year when we were selected to be a part of ServiceMaster’s We Serve Day, for a second year in a row. ServiceMaster partnered with Habitat for Humanity to complete our project, which was to improve the outdoor play areas for our children.

They purchased new tricycles so that every child has a bike to ride during outdoor time. They also built us four new storage bins to keep outdoor toys out of the weather and clean for our children. Finally, they repainted an existing shed on our property, giving it a more beautiful exterior and took down an older shed and built a brand new one in its place. The new shed is easier for our staff and children to use and access outdoor toys and equipment. It is also absolutely beautiful and brightens the outdoor play area for our toddlers. Our staff loved seeing familiar faces volunteering again this year and the transformation of our outdoor play areas was amazing.

We are so grateful for ServiceMaster and their incredible employees for spending the day giving back to Hope House and many organizations around the community. They have made the outdoor play area for our children a safer, better functioning and more beautiful space!
